FIRST IS A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT WITH GROUNDHOG EXCAVATING AND LANDSCAPE LLC FOR WATER MAIN IN THE BERKSHIRE DRIVE, GIDDINGS AVENUE AND SHANGRI-LA DRIVE IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,067,364, WITH THE TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED OF $2,648,455. DO I HAVE A MOTION? SO MOVED. MOVED AND SUPPORTED, MISS IRVING? YEAH. THIS PROJECT IS BEING FUNDED THROUGH THE DRINKING WATER STATE REVOLVING FUND WITH FUNDS THAT WERE. OBTAINED BY THE WATER DEPARTMENT. SO THAT'LL BE THE PRIMARY SUPPORT. IT'S ALSO BEING SUPPORTED BY VITAL STREETS. THERE WILL BE WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT. AND WITH THAT THEY ALSO REPLACE SERVICES TO HOMES. SO THERE ARE NO LEAD SERVICE LINES IN THIS PROJECT. AND THEY'LL ALSO DO SOME ADA ADA UPGRADES ON THE INTERSECTIONS OF KALAMAZOO WHERE THERE'S SIDEWALKS. OKAY. THANK YOU. COLLEAGUES.

ITEM NUMBER TWO IS A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT WITH NAGLE CONSTRUCTION INCORPORATED FOR ROTO MILLING AND RESURFACING OF STREETS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS. CONTRACT NUMBER 2025 THREE. IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,487,233.75, WITH A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED OF $5,562,000. SO MOVED.

ITEM NUMBER THREE IS A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT WITH GRAND ACTION 2.0 FOR GRAND VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY. THE YMCA, PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AND PHASE ONE. SO MOVED, MOVED AND SUPPORTED MR. IRVING. SURE. THIS PROJECT IS IN SUPPORT OF THE NEW SOCCER STADIUM THAT'S GOING IN AND AN AGREEMENT WITH GRAND ACTION, THE YMCA AND GRAND VALLEY TO CONNECT THE PARKING RAMP TO YMCA. SO THIS IS PHASE ONE, IN WHICH THEY NEED TO MOVE SOME STREET LIGHTING AND MAKE SOME CROSSWALK AND PEDESTRIAN UPGRADES. MOVING THE STREET LIGHTING MAKES ROOM FOR THE FUTURE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE THAT WILL NEED FAIRLY SUBSTANTIAL FOUNDATIONS. GREAT. WHAT'S THE CAN YOU REMIND US? WHAT'S THE ANTICIPATED COMPLETION DATE FOR THE BRIDGE? THEY'RE STILL HOPING TO HAVE IT DONE BY THE SPRING OF 2027, SO THEY'RE STILL PUSHING FORWARD. I KNOW THEY HAVE THEIR CLEARANCES AND PERMITS WITH THE RAILROAD. OKAY. AND THIS IS A PRIVATELY FUNDED PROJECT. OPPOSED? ITEM CARRIES. AND OUR LAST RESOLUTION FOR TODAY IS A RESOLUTION SETTING FEBRUARY 24TH, 2026 AS A DATE TO CONSIDER A MAJOR AMENDMENT TO A PLANNED REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT AT 1150 ADAMS AVENUE SOUTHEAST. SUPPORT IN SUPPORT OF MR. KEMP. GOOD MORNING, COMMISSIONERS.

THE PROJECT IN FRONT OF YOU THIS MORNING IS THE BOSTON SQUARE PUD WAS APPROVED BACK IN AUGUST 25TH OF 2020. IT'S IN A PHASED APPROACH. THE F2 BUILDING IS CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION. THE F3 BUILDING IS IN PERMITS. THE PROJECT BEFORE YOU THIS MORNING IS TO ADD TWO ADDITIONAL BUILDINGS TO THE ALREADY APPROVED THREE TOWNHOME STRUCTURES. ALSO CONSIDERATION IS TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF UNITS FROM 20 TO BETWEEN TO A RANGE OF 20 TO 25 TO RELOCATE THE CENTRAL PARK AREA OF THE DEVELOPMENT TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE OVERALL SITE, AS WELL AS ELIMINATE THE GARAGES THAT WERE GOING TO BE ATTACHED TO THOSE STRUCTURES.

PARKING WOULD BE ACCOMMODATED WITHIN THE STREET. THE PLANNING COMMISSION HAD SOME SIGNIFICANT CONVERSATIONS ABOUT MAKING SURE THAT THAT STREET, WHEN IT WAS DEVELOPED, OR THAT DRIVE THAT IT MEET THE INTENT OF THE VITAL STREETS PLANS. SO THEY WILL WORK. THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM WILL WORK WITH PLANNING, ENGINEERING AND MOBILE GR TO FINALIZE, ALONG WITH THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
